Troy Aikman was selected first by the Dallas Cowboys. He was drafted out of UCLA and was a highly sought after high school recruit. Emmitt Smith, who had fought against so much criticism due to his size, was an All-American running back from the University of Florida. Last but certainly not least, Michael Irvin, was a receiver out of the University of Miami. Find Prices and rates for Car Insurance.

Irvin, Emmitt, and Troy made The Triplets, a name given to them by the media. Coach Jimmy Johnson was also Michael Irvin’s coach at the University of Miami, and they worked very well together.

The Bills, a very solid team, got on the scoreboard first after they recovered a fumble near the goal line to take a 7 point lead over the favored Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys, who were coming in at 13-3 on the season, were not shaken. The tables were later turned after they capitalized on Bills miscues to score two touchdowns in less than 30 seconds in the 1st Quarter.

The Cowboys continued to make the Bills pay, where they would end up with over 400 yards in the game. They again scored twice in less than 30 seconds and were beginning to take control of the game. After being outscored 7-3 in the 3rd Quarter, the Cowboys put the game away in the 4th Quarter by scoring three touchdowns and taking a commanding lead.

The biggest or most memorable play was a fumble return being returned by Leon Lett. Lett, who had ran half the field, neared the goal line before a hustling Bills player, Don Bebe, caught him and slapped the ball out of his hands before he reached the endzone.

Troy Aikman brought home the Super Bowl MVP. The Cowboys had a powerful offense in 1992, and amassed 409 points. This was good for 2nd in the NFL, and their defense was also impressive, allowing only 243 points.

The Dallas Cowboys went on to win 2 more Super Bowls in the 1990′s, and are to this day one of the most world wide recognized teams in all of sports.

The Benefits Of Used Cars.

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

There are so many consumers in the world of today that would prefer to drive a brand new car. They have many good reasons for this. Most importantly is a lack of mechanical trouble for at least a few years. One thing that these consumers do not consider however, is that used cars can be just as trust worthy if you take proper care of them.

The worst part about buying a brand new car is that you will have, often high, monthly payments. There are some used autos that are bought under payment plans as well, however these payments are typically lower than what is payed for a new auto. The best way to buy a used car is find a good, yet low cost one, and pay the total purchase price in cash.

People who buy used autos outright have the really great advantage of owning their very own car outright. The largest advantage of not having a financed car is the fact that you will not be required to carry a full coverage type of insurance policy. Some used autos that were purchased very cheaply might only require the most basic of insurance coverage.

Keep in mind that when you fully purchase the total price of a car with cash, you might be able to save a great deal of money in the process. When you buy a used auto this way, you often have the benefit of haggling down the car’s price with a salesman. Salesman are not afraid to give pretty decent discounts when they know that the car will be paid for with cash, in one sitting.

Do not forget that when you are buying any used car, there are a few tests you need to perform to check for several possible issues. The first step to performing these tests is a test drive, that should be somewhat long. Be sure to park the car on a level surface and do not be afraid to crawl underneath the auto to check for spots of leaked oil.

A lot of cars will leak water and or coolant and this is the sign of a car that will quickly die after purchase. Once again you are going to have get dirty by crawling on the ground. Take the car on a bit of a long test drive and then once again find a nice level place to park it. Be sure to crawl under and check for water spots (not coming from the ac) and also check the coolant reservoir under the hood for shortages.

Any person who owns a used car needs to perform regular maintenance like clock work. The oil should be changed either every three months or three thousand miles, which ever should occur first. A tune up needs to be applied every thirty thousand miles.

By now, it is hoped that you have a much better understanding behind the benefits offered by nice used cars. Think of how free your finances will be when you do not have a monthly car payment to make. Some people live by the adage, it doesn’t matter what the car looks like as long as it runs well. This is very good advice for anybody to live by.
